ChangeBlogger provides tools, games, articles, account features, and contact options at changeblogger.org. Some tools run fully in your browser. Some features need server-side processing, authentication, storage, analytics, or third-party services. We try to keep data collection practical and limited to what the site needs to work.

Data processed in your browser

Many tools process your input locally in the browser. Examples include text formatting tools, QR scanning history, clipboard manager data, random generator settings, image format conversion, and camera or microphone tests. These tools may use browser features such as localStorage, cookies, clipboard access, file inputs, camera permissions, or microphone permissions.

Browser-only processing means the tool can work without sending the input to ChangeBlogger servers. Your browser may still store the data locally if the tool has a saved-history or preferences feature. You can clear that data through the tool controls when available, or through your browser settings.

Data sent to our servers

Some tools call ChangeBlogger API routes because they need a proxy, server-side authentication, AI processing, or storage. This can include API testing, header or redirect checks, link previews, AI Mermaid generation, bill organizer uploads, image editing APIs, and account-based profit and expense tools.

Server logs may include technical information such as request time, requested route, IP address, browser details, and error details. We use this information to operate the site, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Accounts, authentication, and stored records

ChangeBlogger uses Supabase for account authentication. If you sign up or sign in, Supabase processes your email address, password-based authentication data, session cookies, and related account metadata.

Account-based tools can store records connected to your user ID. For example, the bill organizer can store parsed bill fields, uploaded file paths, bill dates, vendor names, categories, summaries, and total amounts. The profit and expense tracker can store account names and ledger entries you submit.

Uploads, AI processing, and third-party providers

If you upload a bill, image, or other file to a server-backed tool, the file may be sent to ChangeBlogger servers and then to a provider needed for that feature. Bill parsing can use Google Gemini to extract structured bill information. Uploaded bill files may be stored in Supabase Storage under your account.

Other third-party services used by the site may include Supabase, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AI/Gemini services, Giscus comments, IP lookup services such as ipapi.co, hosting providers, and outbound APIs requested by tools like redirect, header, sitemap, or link preview checkers.

Contact form and email

The contact form opens your email client with the name, email address, subject, and message you entered. We receive that information if you choose to send the email. We use contact emails to answer your message, investigate issues, and keep a record of support conversations.

Cookies, analytics, and local storage

The site uses cookies and local storage for authentication sessions, theme preferences, tool preferences, generated values, scan history, and similar convenience features. Some random generator tools save recent settings in cookies so the page can restore them later.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page views, tool usage, scroll depth, performance, errors, and other aggregate behavior. Analytics data helps us fix broken pages and improve useful content. You can limit cookies or analytics through browser settings, extensions, or privacy controls provided by Google.

Camera, microphone, QR scanner, and IP tools

Webcam, microphone, and QR scanner tools request browser permission before using your device camera or microphone. Camera and microphone streams are handled by your browser for the tool experience. We do not intentionally store camera or microphone recordings on our servers from these test tools.

The IP checker calls ipapi.co from your browser to show your public IP address, approximate location, time zone, and ISP. That request is made to the IP lookup provider, which may process your IP address according to its own policy.

Retention and deletion

Browser-stored data stays on your device until you clear it or the tool removes it. Account data and uploaded files are kept while your account or the related tool record remains active, unless we need to keep limited records for security, debugging, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.

To request account deletion, data export, correction, or removal of uploaded files, email [email protected]. Include the email address connected to your account and describe what you want deleted or exported.

Children and sensitive information

ChangeBlogger is not directed to children under 13. Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless a tool specifically requires it for your own workflow. Avoid uploading private IDs, passwords, secrets, or confidential files unless you understand how the specific tool processes them.
